History

The Senior Stairs were built along with the Main Campus Building in 1930. They were known as the Senior Entrance but were also the main entrance into Great Falls High because the football stadium had not been constructed yet.

They are now called the Senior Stairs and are no longer the main entrance into Great Falls High. Along the walls are pictures of all the Principals at Great Falls High and over the top is stained glass. One of the important uses of the Senior Stairs is during graduation. The seniors set out on their last walk by going down the stairs to the field house. It signifies the last big action seniors take before leaving Great Falls High. The Senior Stairs are a big tradition because they are a privilege only the seniors have.
